SISTERS TOGETHER ACHIEVING RECOVERY

ABOUT US

Welcome to S.T.A.R: Sisters Together Achieving Recovery

At S.T.A.R., we believe every woman deserves a space where she can heal, grow, and thrive without judgment. We are a community, a sisterhood, and a beacon of hope for women navigating their journey of transformation.

OUR VISION

At S.T.A.R. (Sisters Together Achieving Recovery) we believe that every woman deserves to heal, grow, and thrive in a space free from stigma and judgment. Our vision is to create a community where women can embrace their journey without fear of labels, misconceptions, or exclusion. By fostering understanding through education, shared experiences, and mutual support, we are committed to dismantling the barriers of stigma and ensuring that every woman's voice is heard, valued, and respected.

Challenging the Shadow of Stigma

For too long, stigma has cast a heavy shadow over women’s recovery journeys, creating isolation and limiting opportunities for growth. At S.T.A.R., we are actively working to break these cycles, replace judgment with understanding, and cultivate a space where healing flourishes. Here, every woman is more than her past—she is a story of resilience, hope, and transformation.

OUR CORE PRINCIPLES

S.T.A.R. is built on a foundation of principles that guide our mission and create a safe, empowering space for all women:

Celebrating Individuality

Every woman deserves to feel strong, valued, and capable of achieving her goals and aspirations.

A Stigma-Free Zone

We remove titles and labels, choosing instead to see the person behind the story. Through this, we create real change.

Mutual Respect

We recognize that every woman’s voice is valuable. S.T.A.R. is a space where women are heard, supported, and uplifted by one another.

Art as Our Voice

Creativity is a powerful tool for healing. In our Reflection Circle, women use artistic expression to share their journeys, emotions, and personal growth.

At S.T.A.R

You Are Never Alone!

We believe that healing happens together. Whether you're just beginning your journey or continuing to build on your progress. Here, you will find support, strength and a sisterhood that walks with you every step of the way.

OUR FOUNDERS

S.T.A.R. was born from the passion and vision of women who deeply understood the challenges of recovery and the power of community.

Our founders, united by a shared commitment to empowering others, envisioned a space where women could find strength, healing, and connection. With a profound belief in the transformative impact of support and sisterhood, they laid the foundation for S.T.A.R, creating a haven where every woman’s story is valued, and every step forward is celebrated.

Their dedication continues to inspire the mission and programs that drive S.T.A.R. today.
